Brad Barcham
Account Executive Director, INbusiness
Brad attended the University of Lethbridge where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Psychology. As a personal trainer, Brad has worked with many different demographics including the elderly, rehab patients, and elite athletes for sport specific training. He has been involved in athletics, fitness, and health for most of his life. Today, Brad works with individuals and corporations to help people live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Brad works to reduce stress levels and lower the health risks of clients by guiding them through a customized, proactive and preventative approach to health. “Increased happiness, efficiency and energy are just the beginning!”
Kelly Blackshaw
Buisness Development Director, INvalue
Kelly is a Kinesiologist and certified exercise physiologist. Throughout her life she has been a leader in fitness and athletics and is recognized for many outstanding accomplishments including being inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, receiving the Athletic Leader Award and the Alberta CEP Recognition Awards. Kelly was also commended with the Alberta Centennial Salute Awards in Sport and Recreation for her work with children through Kidsport, a charity she co-founded that today is one of the largest of its kind. Kelly has great enthusiasm for every aspect of her work at INLIV and believes that everyone can grow to live a life full of passion. Kelly is involved and enjoys many activities; golfing, skiing, scuba diving, hiking, biking, tap dancing and taking long trips on her Harley Davidson.
Dr. Tanis Blench
Medical Director, INcare
Tanis obtained her medical degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, graduating at age 22 years. She practiced in Lloydminster, Alberta for 4 years, moving to Calgary in 1982. In 1999, Dr. Blench obtained her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business. She is Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine. In 2004, Dr. Blench was awarded a scholarship by the Bravewell Collaborative to attend the University of Arizona, Fellowship in Integrative Medicine. Integrative Medicine is patient centered care that focuses on healing the whole person - mind, body and spirit. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Blench has presented educational seminars to professionals and has co-produced a series of office manuals and software for efficient medical practice. She is committed to a healthy lifestyle that focuses on key ingredients to optimal health and longevity.
Vince Danielsen
Managing Director, INvision
Vince graduated with a Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, where he also played for the UBC Thunderbirds. Vince went on to play 8 years of professional football as a receiver with the Calgary Stampeders. Between 1994 and 2001 the team won two Grey Cups Championships, and in 1998 Vince was named Canada’s Most Valuable player. For Vince, health and fitness have always been a priority and a focus; in 1998 he opened Innovative Fitness Calgary, a private personal training studio. In 2006, this expanded into Innovative Health Group, and after a recent merger, has become known as INLIV. In addition to business, Vince has focused on childhood cancer as a charitable cause in Calgary. With fundraising, INLIV has donated over $200,000 through an annual Train the Trainer event, with proceeds benefiting kids who are facing childhood cancer.
Jacqui Durham
Operations Director, INservice
Jacqui qualified as a registered nurse in England in 1989 and began her work in various specialities including intensive care and emergency medicine. In 2006, Jacqui emigrated to Calgary with her family where she continued her career in nursing. She began working for the University of Calgary, running a rheumatoid arthritis research program. Jacqui joined the INLIV team in 2009 as the travel and occupational health nurse. More recently, Jacqui has enthusiastically taken on the role of team leader for operations at our downtown location.
Stan Peake
Fitness & Health Director, INguidance
Stan studied exercise physiology at the University of Calgary and later attended Mount Royal University where he was named an inaugural graduate of the Personal Trainer Program. He has been involved in the fitness industry since 1998 and has always had a deep passion for changing people's lives. Stan’s background in fitness is based largely on sport science applications, human resources and leadership. Today, he leads and teaches the art of successful training at INLIV as well as the management principles of leadership. Stan believes that by incorporating a balanced and healthy lifestyle, and through challenge, everyone can better themselves in all aspects of their lives. In his own words, “life is about removing barriers to take us closer to our potential”. Stan enjoys and excels at many different activities such as, cycling, hiking, running, mountain biking, swimming, kayaking and snowshoeing.
Anna Prockiw
Human Resources Director, INtalent
Anna graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a Bachelor of Education, majoring in general sciences. During this time, she played for the Varsity Rugby Women’s Team. Anna has an enthusiasm for adventure, healthy living and fun. She brings these attributes, along with her professional teaching skills, to her leadership style and to all of her personal training clients. Anna has just completed her first Ironman triathlon and enjoys running, hiking and yoga.
Diana Shvarz
Service Integration Director, INcollaboration

Diana completed her Masters degree in military studies from the University of Calgary. A life-long history buff, Diana is enjoys a very different field as she leads the personal health and fitness administration. Diana is passionate about continuously learning and helping others. Her work encompasses business operations and the daily interactions with her team and clients alike. In leadership, Diana strives to deliver the highest level of client service and believes that exceptional teams go above and beyond. She is fluent in four languages and has traveled to many different parts of the world. Her love for people, new cultures and seeking new knowledge, make her an integral part of the INLIV team.
Abagail Vanmerlin
Marketing Director, INcreative
Abagail attended the University of Calgary where she studied Dance and Theatre, with a special interest in theatrical design. In 2008, Abagail graduated from the University of Georgia’s Personal Training Program. As a former INLIV personal trainer, Abagail values the relationship between challenge and growth. She believes that going beyond our comfort zone, physically or mentally, allows us to realize our full potential. Abagail brings to INLIV a deep passion for life, for adventure and for thinking outside the box. She enjoys competitive running, yoga and triathlons, and recently completed Ironman Canada.
Sylvia Wetherup
Special Projects Director, INorganization
Sylvia began with Hyatt Regency Calgary in 2000; as part of the group of companies, Sylvia came to INLIV in 2009 as an Executive Assistant. Sylvia brings with her a wealth of talent, efficiency and resourcefulness. She is greatly appreciated for her can-do attitude and her ability to multitask and coordinate several people, a handful of events and a dozen projects all at once. In addition to her work, Sylvia is passionate about her family and about being everything she can be to those around her. Sylvia enjoys traveling, yoga, hiking and golfing and it is through these pursuits that she continually strives towards leading a more balanced and healthy life. Sylvia will be competing in the 2011 Ironman Canada, where she will live her mantra, which is 'You can do it'!
