Dr. Jacqueline Jenkins

Jacqueline grew up on the east coast in Halifax and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, where her love for the outdoors and interest in medicine began. She graduated from Bishop’s University, with a BSc in Biology and Neuroscience with Honors, and was awarded the female athlete “Rookie of the Year”. After some work experience, and travel and work abroad, she completed a Masters of Kinesiology at Dalhousie University and then joined the workforce again. With a contagious enthusiasm for learning and medicine, and wanting more in her career, she jumped at the opportunity to start at Saba Medical School and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in Family Medicine in 2013.

Jacqueline has a keen interest in preventative health, lifestyle medicine, and specializes as an Urgent Care Physician since graduating in 2013, with certification in Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Independent Practitioner, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Procedural Sedation. She has three years of experience providing Executive Medicals and Preventative Health Assessments.

Jacqueline lives with her young family in Calgary, and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and restorative time in the mountains. Life has so much to offer. Be kind to others, stay curious, be open to new experiences; your next passion, best friend, or ‘biohack’ might be just around the corner!
