“Be the change you want to see in the world”
I truly believe in paying it forward and making it my mission to make someone else’s day better, so of course I am a nurse! I graduated nursing in 2012 with honors from NS where I grew up.
Beginning my career at the local hospital on the Surgery unit contributed to my growth as a nurse, before branching out into community to work one on one with clients to really build connections, and to help develop and maintain the best quality of life possible. I moved to Alberta in 2017 to gain more experience while continuing to grow and learn new skills.
Physical activity is good for mental health as well as our physical health. I enjoy running, training, yoga and meditation. I believe that taking care of your body, mind and soul is number one in healthy living along with good nutrition and being kind to yourself and to others.
