What to expect
Platelet Rich Plasma treatments are most commonly used on the face, under the eyes and on the décolleté.
To begin, our INLIV physician will draw a small amount of blood from your arm, similar to when you are having medical lab tests completed.
Your blood is then placed into a centrifuge to separate the working platelets. This platelet rich plasma (PRP) is then carefully injected into the treatment area where it goes to work releasing growth factors to stimulate collagen production and encourage cell and tissue regeneration. The final result from PRP at INLIV is a natural boost to your skin texture and added volume.
Some guests may experience some swelling and minor bruising , though it typically resolves within two to three days.
Individual results may vary.
How it works
When the platelet rich plasma is injected into the skin, it goes to work releasing growth factors to stimulate collagen production and encourage cell and tissue regeneration. The final result is a natural boost to your skin texture and added volume.
Selphyl or platelet rich plasma works with the body’s own natural response to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin.
Be patient – the results take some time to reveal themselves. And, while the results are long-lasting, it’s important to remember that your skin will continue to age naturally.
